Product Details

The Side Post Lever is the easiest of our levers to reach because it wraps around the post and is close to the fence edge. For this lever, your fence needs to be built with an accommodating space for the lever to fit on the side. The Side Post Lever is adaptable for either side of the gate post whether your gate opens to the left or right. Must have 3-1/2" of space available on post for lever to fit.

Manufactured and assembled in Washington State.

Includes 18" chain and mounting hardware, but latch not included.

The Gate Lever

We love this little device. Well made and attractive, it works great to open the gate from the back. Good price and arrived quickly. Highly recommend.

Great product

This is a great product! We have two of them, one for the gate on either side of our house. I didn’t realize how annoying it was to try and reach over to unlock the gate until I no longer had to! The gate lever is super easy to reach. Our fence is fairly tall (about six feet), and I’m 5’5, so before installing the gate lever I had a hard time unlatching our gate. Now I can reach up with just one hand and unlock it with one quick touch— perfect! The latch is high quality, looks beautiful, and dramatically improves our access to our backyard through the gates. Everyone with a wooden fence needs this lever!

Solved our issue

I got this and the Accessory Mount and it solved our gate opening issue. After installing our gate, we didn’t really think about how it would be opened. We attached a string and it looked bad. The Gate Lever solved our problem and looked great. Thanks for designing it!
